Dave Cam's Zero to Hero - Week 4, FF1600 at Summit Point

This week on Dave Cam’s Zero to Hero, Dave is jumping into one of the newest pieces of content that came included with membership a few weeks ago when 2023 iRacing Season 2’s build dropped.

That would be the Ray Race Cars Formula 1600, an open-wheel starter car with no wings, no downforce, and no guarantees when strapping in at this week’s venue, Summit Point Raceway. No guarantees, you might ask? Well, Dave had to record racing the fun combo twice today, and that’s no thanks to our own Piers Prior!

After an unsafe rejoin by Piers, Dave wound up in early shambles. A valiant drive led our hero to finish sixth in that race, but this isn’t the Zero to even more of a Zero to a mid-pack finish series, now is it? Several apologies later, I think Piers and Dave are cool again…

Don’t worry, folks. Dave managed to keep it together in the second race, even with Piers in the field again. Dave is starting from dead last at the 1.98-mile, 3.19-kilometer circuit in West Virginia, USA. Things got tense almost immediately, but the question remains… just how far up the running order will Dave get this time around?

You’ll have to tune in to find out! When you’re done with today’s video, why not check out all the other Dave Cam content on the Traxion.GG website and Traxion.GG YouTube page? We’ve also got even more content related to racing games, equipment, and more on the channel, so be sure to check those out as well. Keep it pinned!
