Dave Cam’s Zero to Hero – Week 12, GT4 at Spa

The final week of official racing in 2023 iRacing Season 2 is Week 12, and that means it’s our final week of Dave Cam’s Zero to Hero challenge. All season long, Dave Cam has taken his talents through the field at a track and car combination of his choice, starting as far back as he can and moving up the order as high as he can.

It’s not about the safety rating or the iRating, it’s just about the racing. Spa-Francorchamps plays host to the final week of the season, and the car of choice is the GT4 category. These cars will take on the 7.004-kilometer (4.352-mile) course in Belgium for the final race of the series.

This particular combination is thanks to the GT4 Falken Tyre Challenge schedule. Dave is poised to score as best he can while driving in the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR. Other cars in the field include the BMW M4 GT4, the Mercedes-AMG GT4 and the Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

He’ll be starting 17th in this final go, and while it’s a bit longer than most races in the series being at 30 minutes, there’s no shortage of action. Dave is going to have to give it his all to get through the pack safely.
