Dave Cam takes on iRacing’s GR86 Cup – Week 9 at Oschersleben

With two-thirds of the season in the rear-view for iRacing‘s 2023 Season 1, Dave Cam has only four more weeks to improve his points standing position in the GR86 official series. Currently eighth in the points, his next challenge up will be a newer track to the iRacing service, the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

Dave has scored three wins and eight Top 5 finishes across those eight weeks, his most recent result at Tsukuba being a fourth place effort. For the second time this season, Dave will be racing in a do-over race since his first one got a bit physical and resulted in some heavy damage.

The inaugural calendar for the official GR Cup series, which utilises the new-to-iRacing Toyota GR86, is moving from a piece of free content at Tsukuba to a newer, less popular venue in Oschersleben. The 3.696-kilometer (2.297-miles) circuit is located in Germany, and Dave doesn’t have much practise on it.
