So far, so good for Dave Cam in his inaugural run of the iRacing GR Cup Series. New to the build that came from iRacing 2023 Season 1, the Toyota GR86 is free-with-subscription to iRacing and comes included with a new, official series on the calendar as a result.

After three races over three weeks, Dave sits 29th out of nearly 20,000 iRacers in the official series points standings for all divisions. Attempting to run one race per week, the series allows competitors to race as much or as little as they’d like, but only scores their best points result.

Dave opened his series with a second place at VIRginia International Raceway, a victory at Okayama International Circuit, and another runner-up last week at Lime Rock Park. This week, new content meets new content as Dave takes on the newest roadie on the service – Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.

Starting in second this week, Dave is driving in the #1 machine with the highest iRating. While it could mean an easier time, lower strength of field races will likely yield less championship points. The 4.41-kilometer (2.741-miles) venue is new to most, so chaos may be on the menu.

Can Dave avoid the ruckus, cruise to another victory, and move further up the standings? Stick around until the end to see the results! Don’t forget to check out the Traxion.GG website and the Traxion.GG YouTube page for even more Dave Cam, racing games, and esports. Keep it pinned!
