The release of iRacing’s Season 4 2025 build is set to take place next week, and while we’ve given a full run-down of what to expect, a recent dev blog by the sim’s Senior Vice President and Executive Producer, Greg Hill, has revealed a few more hints on the identity of future iRacing content.
Hill explained that iRacing has officially signed a deal with the St. Petersburg street course to bring it to the service, for example, with Adelaide and Lucas Oil Speedway’s dirt track, also known as Wheatland, also progressing in the background.
However, Hill also revealed that Miami International Autodrome and the FIA-approved Cross Car would arrive with the sim’s Season 1 2026 build, which is set for release in December this year, alongside further refreshes to the platform’s incumbent tracks.
The sim is also actively working on scans and rescans of ‘new locations in the EU and the Middle East’, which is intriguing.
Miami International Autodrome
The Miami International Autodrome is built in Miami Gardens, Florida, encircling the Hard Rock Stadium, home to the city’s NFL Miami Dolphins franchise.
The semi-permanent street track was opened in 2022 and has hosted Formula 1 every year since, also featuring on the Formula E calendar. MIA is also home to seven configurations, with the Grand Prix Circuit 3.4 miles in length, although it’s yet to be determined whether each layout will make it into iRacing.
