Having recently been purchased by Corsair, sim racing peripheral manufacturer Fanatec has announced it will be attending the 2024 ADAC SimRacing Expo, running between the 18th and 20th of October.
Fanatec’s parent company Endor AG was declared insolvent earlier this summer, leading to interest from the American hardware giant.
The Californian company initially loaned Fanatec €4 million to help keep its metaphorical wheels turning, and in return is understood to have received product designs and the brand name ‘Fanatec’ as surety before the full takeover was announced.
The announcement that Fanatec will be present at this year’s SimRacing Expo is sure to please fans and allay fears over the company’s future, with Corsair already dipping its toe in the sim racing space with its unnamed cockpit before acquiring the Landshut operation.
Over 70 exhibitors are set to display at SimRacing Expo at the Messe Dortmund next month, with industry big-hitters like Logitech, Thrustmaster, Asetek and Simucube all confirmed to attend.
