Automobilista 2’s rallycross-themed Adrenaline Pack Pt1 DLC out now as huge v1.5 update lands

Automobilista 2’s v1.5 update is out now, adding numerous free upgrades and game fixes, with the new rallycross-themed Adrenaline Pack Pt1 DLC supplying the sim with its first batch of off-road racing fun.

Reiza Studios continues adding comprehensive updates to Automobilista 2, with Tuesday evening’s (25th July 2023) mammoth v1.5 patch arriving alongside the new off-road racing-flavoured Adrenaline Pack Pt1 DLC. 

Apart from the headlining new paid-for DLC content, Reiza has stressed that it has now completely overhauled the physics of all the sim’s car classes (barring karts), with a free 2023 upgrade to the Stock Car Toyota Corolla alongside the addition of a PA Gen2 class featuring the Ginetta G58, among others.

New AI lines have been implemented across several tracks with attention paid to reducing the instances of tyre flat-spotting. In terms of game options, an in-game spotter has been added – especially helpful for rallycross racing – with rubbered-up racing lines now extremely slippery in wet weather. 

Automobilista 2 Adrenaline Pack Pt1 DLC contents 

Onto the main event: the Adrenaline Pack Pt1. This dirt-centred content features four real-world rallycross supercars, including the Bauhaus-sponsored Volkswagen Polo RX previously campaigned by multiple FIA World Rallycross champion Johan Kristofferson. 

The Mini Countryman, Citroen DS3 and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X are also represented in the new RX class, with World Rallycross layouts for Spa-Francorchamps, Hockenheimring, Nürburgring and Barcelona now ready to drive.

Three fictional off-road courses – Ascurra, Tykki and Foz – are part of the DLC too, with seven layouts in total, where players can drive the new Kartcross and Formula Dirt classes to their heart’s content. 

Automobilista 2’s Adrenaline Pack Pt1 is available now for PC via Steam, priced at £16.99.
