Buon Natale – Assetto Corsa EVO will have what is touted as a ‘content unveiling’ on 25th December 2024.
A mysterious YouTube Premiere has been scheduled for 11am GMT / 12 pm CET on Christmas Day.
A teaser trailer for the trailer (if you follow) simply shows the game apparently booting up on a PC, with a Fanatec wheel attached.
The car featured in the thumbnail is the previously announced Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm – a limited-production high-performance saloon.
Purely speculative, as the early access version of EVO releases in under a month, confirmation of the game modes, cars and tracks is expected.
Kunos Simulazioni’s Co-Founder and Executive Manager Marco Massarutto recently explained to Traxion that at least three game modes will arrive in January:
“We will provide a single-player mode [in Early Access], with free practice, quick race and the Driving Academy,” said Massarutto.
“[The Driving Academy] will let the player get a licence to drive specific cars and specific classes: sports cars, supercars and so on. We will have four to five licences in the first Early Access [build] and that will use the first five tracks available in Early Access [build] one,”
The five tracks are expected to be: Nürburgring Nordschleife, Mount Panorama (Bathurst), Fuji Speedway, Imola and Brands Hatch.
Around 15 cars are expected initially, with “20% of the cars” racing models, again according to Massarutto, with that expanding to around 100 by the autumn of 2025.
No further details have been provided and Traxion has not seen the video under embargo – please spare a thought to journalists and content creators working on Christmas Day and enjoy the latest EVO trailer with your family during the festive period.
