One of our favourite simulation platforms is having a free-to-play weekend, as you can download Assetto Corsa Competizione for no charge this weekend.
From today, 14th September until 18:00 BST / 19:00 CEST 18th September 2023, the official platform of SRO’s GT World Challenge competitions is free on Steam for PC users.
If you’ve not tried it, or crucially not tried it in a while, then now’s a perfect time. If you do decide the scratch the itch, there’s also 70 per cent off the price of the base game and deals on the many DLC packs.
Earlier this year, there was a significant version 1.9 physics update, and several hotfixes and Balance of Performance tweaks in the aftermath including the latest update to McLaren’s 720S GT3 contender. Further new content is expected later this year in the form of GT2-class cars, although details are not yet confirmed.
