American Truck Simulator’s latest map pack is out now, taking players on a tour of The Hawkeye State – Iowa. Don’t worry, it has almost nothing in common with useless MCU superheroes…
The Iowa DLC adds 12 cities to the game, including state capital Des Moines, with landmarks like the Historic Cedar Covered Bridge also present and correct and faithfully recreated by the talented team at SCS Software.
Iowa is America’s biggest producer of corn, so unsurprisingly, players will be tasked with a multitude of agricultural-based deliveries, which are enhanced by an update to the game’s optional Farm Machinery DLC.
This adds a Windrower to the game, which is a large farm vehicle that organises hay into long, narrow rows, necessitating the use of a low loader trailer to get it from A to B.
The Iowa DLC also introduces ATS’s largest ever truck stop, which can be accessed via Interstate 80, with 15 additional settlements, including Dyersville and Spencer, also fully explorable.
Iowa Freight & Fields Bundle
Alongside the Iowa DLC, developer SCS Software has unveiled the Iowa Freight & Fields Bundle for ATS. This DLC bundle includes four DLC packs: Iowa, Special Transport, Farm Machinery, and the Retrowave Paint Jobs Pack. This cut-price bundle is also available now.
