Racing Unleashed’s hand-made motion simulators are about to receive the validation of a real-world powerhouse – McLaren.
The outfit, with esports series plus sim racing lounges in Switzerland, Spain and Germany, creates some of the most tactile sim racing set-ups the Traxion team has tried – using a combination of Italian-made chassis, Simucube direct drive devices and deft motion implementation that feels authentic.
Formula 1 championship chasers McLaren Racing has joined forces with it to create a new all-in-one racing simulator.
“These simulators will bring the thrill of motorsport to a global audience, offering an authentic and exhilarating racing experience, no matter their skill level or location,” said the Woking-based papaya-adorned squad.
“This partnership creates an immersive racing experience that will redefine how fans engage with the sport, blending performance and technology like never before,” said Dr. Florian Huerlimann, CTO at Racing Unleashed.
“It’s an exciting proposition to be replicating our race cars for the sim space and give users an extremely accurate representation of what it is like to drive the real thing,” said Matt Dennington, McLaren Racing’s Co-Chief Commercial Officer.
Racing Unleashed also recently announced a tie-in with Pagani, creating a bespoke Huayra R Simulator which is expected to be displayed at this week’s ADAC SimRacing Expo alongside the hypercar.
The first official McLaren Racing Motion Simulator is expected in 2025.
