If you haven’t tried F1 25 yet, Codemasters’ latest official Formula 1 game will be free to play this week from the 16th to 20th October on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the free trial will run from 10pm UTC on 16th October until 10pm UTC on 19th October. On Steam, it will run from 5pm UTC on 16th October to 5pm UTC on 20th October.
Coinciding with the United States Grand Prix this weekend in Austin, Texas, F1 25’s free event gives access to all game modes, including Braking Point and My Team 2.0.
To celebrate the US Grand Prix, a new Pro Challenge sees player attempt to beat a lap time set by Haas rookie driver Ollie Bearman.

If you beat the lap time, you’ll unlock the Haas team’s 2025 United States Grand Prix livery ahead of its real-world appearance this weekend.
As an added perk, those who play F1 25’s free trial will earn double Podium Pass XP, giving faster access to in-game rewards. New players can also get a 30% discount off F1 25 during the trial period, with in-game progress transferring to the full game.
Ahead of this weekend’s Grand Prix, EA has shared a new video where Ollie Bearman and his teammate Esteban Ocon take each other on in F1 25 during a five-lap showdown around COTA.
F1 25’s new Pro Challenge is the latest live service update in Season 3, which celebrates the Haas Team’s tenth anniversary in Formula 1.
