VPG Sim to debut innovative Duo-Mode Paddles at SimRacing Expo

VPG Sim will also present a brand-new product at SimRacing Expo, with the firm set to unveil its Duo-Mode Paddles.

Launching on Friday, 17th October, the Duo-Mode Paddles will allow users to seamlessly turn their analogue paddles into functional buttons using VPG’s ‘Smart Duo-Mode’. This means the paddles automatically detect when the car has left the start line to then switch from clutch to button mode – no extra input is required.

With software developed in association with SimHub specialist Daniel Newman Racing, the Duo-Mode Paddles’ functionality can also be mixed and matched to suit driver preference, so customers can choose exactly how their analogue paddles will operate. 

Modes include:

• Left Button / Right Clutch

• Left Clutch / Right Button

• Both as Buttons

• Both as Clutches (dual bite-point, adjustable)

• Both Smart DUO-MODE™ (clutches off the line → buttons mid-race)

• Left Smart / Right Clutch

• Left Clutch / Right Smart

VPG Sim at SimRacing Expo 2025

VPG Sim will also be exhibiting its Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992.2) and Ford Mustang GT3 sim steering wheels, alongside real-world versions of the cars themselves, which is a European first in the case of the former.

Once again taking place in Messe Dortmund, Germany, the 2025 SimRacing Expo runs between the 17th and 19th of October, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest yet, thanks to a host of world-class exhibitors including iRacing Studios, Simucube, Project Motor Racing, Moza and Thrustmaster.
