CarX Technologies’ latest drift-themed game will be out sooner than expected, with a new CarX Drift Racing 3 trailer revealing a release date of the 5th of December.
The game, which is part of a confusingly muddled series of mobile, console and PC CarX titles, will be released on iOS and Android devices initially, with PC and console versions planned for a later date.
CarX Drift Racing 3 is expected to follow in the footsteps of the developer’s previous drift games, with players competing on real-world inspired drift courses using vehicles inspired by iconic JDM brands like Nissa, Toyota and Mazda. Early trailers indicate that locations similar to the Nurburgring Nordschleife and the Hakone Nanamagari Route will be included.
Previously released footage also indicates the game will possess an impressively detailed damage model, with bumpers peeling off, glass smashing and soft-body dents and dings all possible and all in the name of performing the best sideways skidding.
CarX Drift Racing 3 will be released on iOS and Android devices on the 5th of December 2024. Although the game is expected to be free-to-play, optional in-game microtransactions are anticipated.
