Bonjour! Je m’appelle John et je found it almost as hard to learn the Paul Ricard circuit as I found it to learn French in school. Built in 1969, this place has a colourful history and now has equally colourful run-off areas…. And trust me, you will need to use them!
In recent times, Paul Ricard has been an ideal testing facility for cars of all types with its layout variation options. Almost every corner has a different challenging aspect that will take you a while to get the hang of, but at least you have that insane back straight to have a breather.
In this video, I attempt to teach you some of the better ways to drive around this circuit. Making this video was the first time I had ever lapped the track and I probably found it to be the most difficult on ACC to master. Hopefully, that hard work wasn’t in vein and I can help you guys find some valuable lap time over your rivals!
Here are so benchmarks for you to chase, just make sure you have some patience for this one if, like me, you are new to it:
- Pro – 1:52:60
- Pro-Am – 1:55:00
- Am – 1:58:00
- My time – 1:53:30
How do you all feel about Paul Ricard? Is it an enjoyable circuit to race on or should it stick to being a test track? Make sure you let us know your thoughts!
