The new sim racing equipment bundle celebrates the partnership between the Italian supercar manufacturer and the American-French gaming peripheral stalwart.
The SF1000 was launched in 2021 as a functioning replica of a 2020 Scuderia Formula 1 steering wheel, including a functioning LCD display. It can be used on any Thrustmaster wheel base, however, it always felt a little too upmarket for its belt-driven devices.
Then, when the direct drive T818 launched last year, they seemed like an ideal matchup.
No, this bundle is the wheel base and wheel in one unit, with the body of the T818 adorned in Ferrari colours (Rosso Corsa) and Prancing Horses. It also includes the Desk Mounting Kit as standard.
Thrustmaster is the partner of the Ferrari Esports Series for 2023 and also teased a new 488 GT3-based steering wheel.
The Thrustmaster T818 Ferrari SF1000 Simulator bundle will be priced at £999.99 / $1,099.99 / €1,099.99. Pre-orders begin 15th May for Europe for sales on 14th June, in Australia 6th June ahead of 5th July sales and 12th June in the UK and USA ahead of sales on 12th July.
