Williams Esports will enter the 2023 racing esports season with a new look driver roster, with nine drivers set to leave and two new recruits.
Announced via social media on 8th January 2023, the Grove-based virtual racing team will say goodbye to André Böttcher, Alessio Di Capua, Alex Arana, Dino Lombardi, Dominik Staib, Giorgio Mangano, Michael Romanidis, Tariq Gamil and Valerio Gallo.
Of note, Greek driver Romanidis drove for Williams during the 2022-23 Le Mans Virtual Series, participating in the Spa-Francorchamps round, alongside the V10 R-League. Gallo was the 2021 Gran Turismo World Series Nations Cup winner and Olympic Virtual Series victor, while Mangano is also a competitor on the Sony platform.
