- V1.62 of ATS unveiled, adding new Road Trip tourist boards
- Volvo VNL upgraded with improved materials system
American Truck Simulator’s V1.62 update is out now, adding a few modest tweaks to SCS Software’s game.
The headline feature of V1.62 is the addition of extra Road Trip Boards in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Washington, Louisiana, and Nebraska, along with a special Route 66 Cross-Border Tourist Board.
To obtain the Route 66 Postcard and air freshener cockpit accessory, players will need to find commemorative boards in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.

In terms of vehicle updates, the Volvo VNL receives the Czech studio’s improved materials system for better-looking cockpit interiors, with the Swedish truck also added to the game’s lineup of AI traffic.
The Goodyear Tires Pack has also been updated with the U.S. tyre brand’s latest colourways, with the in-game radio’s streamer-friendly Escape station revised to prevent copyright strikes. The full changelog is listed below.
After the successful release of ATS’s first Road Trip mode DLC, the Ford Car Pack, SCS is well on the way to releasing a second, the RAM & Dodge DLC. A 1970 Dodge Charger 500 is the latest car to be unveiled, although a release date has yet to be announced.
