Portuguese simulator specialist ImSim has finally revealed the top-secret product it teased ahead of SimRacing Expo Frankfurt.

The Porsche Raceborn is a collaboration with the Stuttgart-based car manufacturer, bringing a tailor-made high-end cockpit to the market.

Designed for high-end private customers, collectors and commercial partners, the Raceborn evokes the design of road-going Porsches, featuring sleek lines, authentic external lighting and a choice of seven official Porsche colours (custom designs are also available).

Although each build can be customised to customers’ needs, the reference product shown, in so-called ‘RS Spec’ features a four-point motion platform, four ButtKicker transducers, a 21 Nm Moza direct drive wheelbase and an integrated belt tensioner.

Although prices have not been revealed, Traxion understands the Porsche Raceborn will cost around €50-70K, depending on its final configuration.

“Working directly with Porsche allowed us to develop something truly special,” stated Hugo Azevedo, Founder and CEO of ImSim.

“Our ambition was to combine distinctive design with serious simulation engineering, without compromising the freedom to personalise. Raceborn reflects how we approach every ImSim project: the simulator should adapt to the driver, not the other way around,” he explained.

  1. 50-70k for what is a 10-15k rig without the porsche branding. What a joke, could probably buy a VERY nice used porsche 911 for that kinda money.🤣
