  • Lamborghini Temerario GT3, Circuit Buagtti, Circuit Paul Ricard and Winchester Speedway coming to iRacing’s Season 1 2027 build
  • Career mode and new graphics system continuing to be worked on

The Lamborghini Temerario GT3 has been confirmed for iRacing’s upcoming December update.

The Temerario is Sant’Agata’s latest GT3 contender, eschewing the sonorous V10 engine of its Huracán predecessor for a high-revving twin-turbo V8, producing a distinctly different exhaust tone.

The car currently races in the GTD Pro and GTD categories of IMSA, as well as in GT World Challenge Europe and DTM. Other sims, including RaceRoom and Project Motor Racing, already have the Lamborghini, and Assetto Corsa EVO recently revealed a road-car version.

The Season 1 2027 build will also feature Circuit Paul Ricard, Circuit Bugatti, and Winchester Speedway, according to iRacing President and CFO Tony Gardner during an episode of the iRacing Downshift podcast. All three tracks have previously been teased by the service, with the likes of Circuit Paul Armagnac (Nogaro) and Circuit Ricardo Tormo (Valencia) also in the works for future builds.

Better new content balance going forward

“We haven’t been releasing a ton of new content [over] the last couple of years,” admitted Gardner, “because we’ve been upgrading old content for the NASCAR game, starting with iRacing, now for the INDYCAR game.

“We needed to do that… but we’re getting close to getting caught up and balancing that better, so we have Circuit Paul Ricard coming in December, we have Circuit Bugatti coming in December, we have Winchester [Speedway] for you short-track folks coming, we have a Lamborghini GT3 car coming in December, and we have some other great content behind that that’s new, so I think people will be excited about that as well,” he concluded.

So, iRacing fans can expect a renewed focus on new content in the coming months, with a new graphics engine and career mode as major development tasks through 2027.
