Genesis Magma Racing, Le Mans Ultimate and Traxion are searching for the next esports talent. Race the GMR-001 Hypercar in Le Mans Ultimate and qualify for the GMR Esports Series.
Phase 01 · 6 October–1 December
Qualify for the series.
Eight weeks. Eight circuits. Up to three races each week, with your best six weeks counting towards qualification.

Prove your racecraft.
Three 45-minute sprints and a two-hour endurance finale. Race-changing wildcards will challenge drivers to adapt their strategy.

The opportunity
Win your seat on the GMR Esports Team.
The winner will be offered a full-time driver role with the GMR Esports Team for the 2027 season. Take your racing from home to a manufacturer-supported esports programme.
Additional prizes will be announced. A GMR Trajectory Driver opportunity is also under consideration and remains to be confirmed.

Entry is free. You need Le Mans Ultimate on PC and your own Steam account. The GMR-001 Hypercar and all qualifying circuits are included in the base game.

Find the qualifiers in-game
Open Le Mans Ultimate on PC and head to Online Championships. Race the GMR-001 Hypercar on the weekly qualifying circuit.
Race for your place
Make up to three attempts each week. Your best six of the eight weeks count towards qualification for the December series.
Before you enter
- Own a valid copy of Le Mans Ultimate on Steam.
- Register below and use one personally owned Steam account.
- Read the Phase 1 rulebook (Google Docs, opens in a new tab) before entering.
- Qualifying runs from 6 October to 1 December 2026. Exact session times and the registration deadline will be announced.
What you need for Phase 2
Qualifiers require no DLC. If you progress to the December series, you will need the Interlagos and Circuit of the Americas tracks, available in Le Mans Ultimate’s 2024 Pack 2 and Pack 3 DLC.
Regional eligibility
Entries are not available from Russia, Belarus, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, South Sudan, Myanmar (Burma), Democratic Republic of the Congo or North Korea.

Phase 01 · 6 October–1 December 2026
Eight weeks to make your mark.
Compete in weekly races through Le Mans Ultimate’s Online Championships tab, driving the GMR-001 Hypercar. Each week brings a different circuit.
Attempts per week
Join a maximum of three qualifying races on each week’s circuit.
Weeks that count
Your best six of the eight weeks contribute to your qualifying result. Your two weakest weeks are dropped.
Places in the series
The top 20 global drivers and top 10 Korean registered drivers progress to Phase 2.
Built around the GMR-001
The car and all eight qualifying circuits are included in Le Mans Ultimate. No additional car or track purchase is needed for Phase 1.

Phase 2 takes place on dedicated series servers, outside Online Championships. Wildcards introduce changing race conditions and strategic challenges; full details will be announced closer to the series.
Phase 2 scoring, tie-breaks and full sporting regulations will be published when confirmed.
