Gran Turismo World Series partners with Moza Racing, PS5 devices in development
Moza is set to be a wheel and pedal supplier for Gran Turismo 7’s pinnacle competition, thus also confirming the manufacturer’s first PS5-compatible devices.

In a surprise mid-season switch, Moza Racing is now an official wheel and pedal partner of the Gran Turismo World Series, Gran Turismo 7‘s pinnacle competition.
It’s a significant change for the competition, which mixes initial online and in-game qualifying stages with (in recent years) four lavishly produced in-person events where the world’s best drivers compete.
Moza becomes only the third sim racing equipment partner of the Gran Turismo World Series, which is of particular interest, as presently it doesn’t have any PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 compatible devices.
These are hinted at by Gran Turismo Series Producer, Kazunori Yamauch, with talk of creating a steering wheel ‘optimal’ for GT7 use:
“Please look forward to the new products that will be released through Moza,” he said.
“My first experience with MOZA was actually through their camera stabilisation gimbals.
“Gimbals and steering controllers both use the same type of technology in that they exercise very precise control over electric motors, so I had my eyes on MOZA’s developmental ability, technology, and reliability for a while now.
“The evolution of consumer-level force feedback steering that started from Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec is still ongoing, but with MOZA now joining us as a partner, I’m excited to see the expanded possibilities to develop a steering wheel that is optimal in the eyes of ‘Gran Turismo’.”
Moza has confirmed that its official partnership will be first seen during the next round of the series, which, due to the cancellation of the Abu Dhabi round, will be a rare return to a remote, recorded event. It will be broadcast on 15th August 2026, having been recorded in Tokyo, at Polyphony Digital’s headquarters.

PS5-compatible Moza devices in development
The partnership all but confirms PS5-compatible devices from Moza, something notably absent from its range to date. However, it’s not yet clear which wheels and pedals will be used by competitors for the upcoming round. Traxion has sought further clarification.
