It was the first time ever that the SimRacing Expo was held in North America, and there was an impressive turnout.

The maiden SimRacing Expo Charlotte has attracted 8,930 visitors.

Held inside the Charlotte Convention Center between 22nd and 24th May 2026, over 30 exhibitors committed to the debut showcase and were rewarded with nearly 9,000 attendees.

Those with booths included iRacing, Project Motor Racing, eNASCAR, Asetek Racing, Fanatec, Thrustmaster, VPG, VRS, Podium 1, Track Racer and Heusinkveld.

Traxion was the official media partner, but was joined by the likes of Windows Central, Top Gear, Insider Gaming and Hardcore Gamer, plus the event was covered by PC Gamer.

Organisers South West Vision also worked with NASCAR, to offer a Golden Ticket, which included sim racing discounts, iRacing credits, access to the adjacent NASCAR Hall of Fame and tickets to the Coca-Cola 600 Cup Series race.

“You all made our very first SimRacing Expo in Charlotte something truly special,” read an organiser statement on social media.

“We never expected to receive such overwhelming feedback and welcome so many visitors at our first event in North America.

“Together, we celebrated sim racing, met new and familiar faces, shared countless great moments and laughs.”

Before the final figures were calculated, it was confirmed that the show will return in the same venue next year between 21st and 23rd May 2027. Before then, the SimRacing Expo will visit Frankfurt, Germany, running 16th-18th October 2026.
