iRacing Arcade: Fresh look at career mode’s campus building
  • First detailed look at iRacing Arcade’s Campus Building mode
  • Upgradeable buildings, customisable campus layouts

A new trailer has just dropped for iRacing Arcade, giving us a closer look at the cutesy racing game’s career mode.

In it, players are tasked with building their team from the ground up, filling their motorsport campus with performance-enhancing buildings to help gain an edge on track.

In the Campus Building mode, it’s possible to build engine and chassis shops and research and design facilities, which will all be upgradeable using the winnings received from career mode successes.

Enhancing your garage also leads to car performance improvements, with players even able to alter the topography of their campus, including adding decorations and vegetation. Coffee shops and museums have also been teased, but what effect these will have on gameplay is yet to be determined.

On first impressions, the custom campus feature looks to be a Sim City-style diversion from the main thrust of the game, the racing, but its success will depend on how deep its customisation and strategic benefit goes.

Developed by Original Fire Games, iRacing Arcade is set to be released on PC via Steam on the 3rd March 2026, costing $24.99. PlayStation and Xbox versions are pencilled in for this Summer.
