Rocket League has launched a South Park-themed event and DLC, including five free Toppers and several Decals.

Rocket League launches South Park collaboration
  • South Park collaboration sees new Cartman Crash Out event begin
  • Five free South Park-themed Toppers available, plus one Decal
  • ‘Stampede + South Park’ bundle available to purchase, includes five more Decals and a car body

Thanks to a partnership with Epic Games, Rocket League now features South Park-themed items.

South Park is the hugely popular adult cartoon that first aired in 1997, courting controversy throughout its run thanks to its unique approach to satire.

As a result, the show’s characters and catchphrases have entered the public consciousness, making them ripe for video game crossovers as seen in both Epic’s car football game and the online battle royale phenomenon, Fortnite.

Available today (22nd January 2026), the Cartman Crash Out event allows players to earn five free South Park Toppers by completing challenges, with each item tracking a different stat. A ‘Cheesy Poofs Octane Decal’ can also be unlocked for free.

The Toppers and their stat-tracking abilities are listed below:

  • Cartman Topper: Tracks turtle goals
  • Stan Topper: Tracks goals
  • Kyle Topper: Tracks assists
  • Kenny Topper: Tracks how many times you’ve been demo’d
  • Butters Topper: Tracks your losses

A paid-for ‘Stampede + South Park’ bundle is also available via Rocket League’s in-game shop, featuring the Stampede car body and five decals based on the show’s five main protagonists: Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Butters (sadly, there’s no place for my personal favourite, Randy).

The South Park-inspired Cartman’s Crash Out event runs from now until the 5th of February across PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of Rocket League.
