Week 6 of iRacing‘s 2022 Season 2 has the Touring Car Turn Racing Challenge series taking their talents to Road America. As per Dave Cam, it’s a perfect match between the TCRs and the North American venue, but momentum and corner speed have never been more important.
As per usual, Dave will be utilizing the Hyundai Elantra N Touring Car that will be used in the Touring Car Turn Racing Challenge official series. That series hosts the Elantra N, Audi RS 3 LMS, Honda Civic Type R and iRacing’s newest Touring Car, the Hyundai Veloster N TC.
Road America is a 4.048-mile, 6.515-kilometre circuit with 14 corners located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Personally, this editor loves this particular venue and is so glad to hear how much Dave does too. Speaking of Professor Dave, today’s lesson should be familiar if you’ve been enrolled in these track guides all season.
Dave has all the tips, tricks, braking markers, and entry points for each different part of the track. He also has a pitting guide and a section dedicated to the art of overtaking, so make sure you stay until the end. This track has such long straightaways, that keeping up the momentum is key to succeeding this week. That, and well, keeping out of the grass all around the tarmac.
