Here at Traxion.GG, we love making videos and writing articles all about racing video games, hardware, and esports- and we’re looking to grow our Silverstone-based team. Are you a writer, video editor, presenter, camera operator (or all of the above), with a passion for video games, motorsport, and are based in the UK? Then we’d like to hear from you!

We are looking for candidates adept in multiple disciplines. Are you a writer who can also present video? Can you edit video and know your way around a camera? Or any combination of the above? If so, take a look at the position descriptions below, and see if you’ve got what it takes to join our team.

If you have an interest in writing, first and foremost, and then have a keen eye for racing videos games or sim racing, Traxion.GG is always on the lookout for new talent to expand our editorial team.

Traxion.GG publishes seven days a week with content created by a small team who play anything with a vehicle in it, across all systems. We are open freelance or voluntary contributors, on an article-to-article basis initially, with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

If you think there’s a title out there that deserves to be featured, a retro game that got you into racing or you are an expert at car setups on a specific platform, we would love to hear from you. If this sounds interesting, regardless of prior experience, then the best way of catching our eye is by writing something. It doesn’t have to feature artfully captured images or be an expansive 5,000-word feature. Keep it focused, impassioned, and with a unique idea – we’ll let you know our thoughts.

If you’re a dab-hand in front of a PC with hundreds of gigabytes of video files being thrown at you, we hope you get in touch. If you have experience in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition, as well as the likes of Nvidia Shadowplay and/or OBS Studio. Experience in creating YouTube-style content isn’t essential, but it is desirable.

We publish content to YouTube daily, from scripted reviews to live gameplay hand-on videos, so understanding that YouTube feel would definitely benefit your application. Send us a portfolio and showreel along with your application, and if you do have YouTube videos in your repertoire, submit links to those you are most proud of!

Since a portion of the video content we produce here at Traxion.GG is live-action and studio-based, knowledge in setting up cameras and audio equipment would also be desirable. Not essential, but if you’ve used anything from Sony, Blackmagic, Rode, and the like, let us know!

Of course, our videos wouldn’t get very far if it weren’t for the people actually presenting them. If you’re experienced in presenting YouTube content specifically (or any presenting for that matter), send us some links/files to your previous work. An interest in both video games and motorsport is ideal for someone looking to become a face of Traxion.GG.

If you’re already ticking one of the above boxes and fancy tagging a bash at presenting along with your application, why not check out our sample script, and send it in either as a voice-over or presented to camera to show us what you’ve got!

Simply email [email protected] today with your CV plus portfolio or work examples and we’ll be in touch.
